I have on the mask. It is hot. I will make it.
Kimberly McDaniel- I am making masks for our whole program. Will be done tonight and will bring to work tomorrow
Awesome Kimberly! Thank you.
Are we wearing these in the homes or only out in public?
The CDC recommends wearing them in public. We need to begin wearing them in the home too. I recognize that this will require some experimentation to figure out how to do it the best way but lets try.

Thanks for the update Kirk
Thanks for the information Christine booker
Shawna Casper - For creative staffing, do we wear them while we sleep? How about the people we support?
Great question Shawna! I would not recommend anyone wearing them while they sleep. We should encourage the people we support to wear masks, however we should do so in a gentle way. We should not force a mask on anyone we serve and we should not make anyone with breathing difficulties (like asthma or COPD) or claustrophobia, wear a mask if it results in breathing difficulties. We need to use our best judgment and call your LPM or AD if you have any questions. We want everyone to be safe.
Good idea. I was planning on it anyway.
Tim and Diane Duncan thank you for the information
Mary Churchill- My back up PM Kim McDaniel is making them for my program so we will all have them. With my asthma afraid the mask will be hot,and when I get hot I choked up. But will be cautious and wear it.
I have seen masks made out of paper towels, T-shirts, pillow cases, as for asthma I would like the air to go through so I picked pillow case much thinner than T-shirt material your choice
Thank you I am trying to make some at home
